What is your cancellation policy?We require fourteen (14) days advance notice for a 96% refund (4% goes towards the credit card transaction fee). If guest cancels within seven (7) days before arrival, a 46% refund will be given. If you cancel within less than seven (7) days prior to your scheduled arrival, a refund will only be granted for the night(s) that Tiny Digs Lakeshore is able to rebook the tiny house, minus a $25 fee. If Tiny Digs Lakeshore is unable to rebook the tiny house, a refund will not be granted and you will be charged for all of the nights of your canceled reservation. Refunds will not be granted for no-shows or failure to cancel your reservation. Is anyone on-site 24/7?Other than our cleaners being on-site during the days and times when they need to clean the tiny houses, there is no one on-site. However, someone is always available to attend to your needs during reasonable hours. Please click the little live chat bubble on the bottom right of this webpage to send a message to our manager.

How late can I check-in?Since we operate by self check-in, you’re free to check-in whenever you want after 4pm with the unique smart door lock code that is sent to you before your stay via email.

When will I receive my check-in instructions?You will automatically receive your unique smart door lock code and check-in instructions in your inbox 5 days prior to your arrival date as long as you complete a signed rental agreement, ID upload, and processed the security deposit hold on your credit card. If you made a same-day booking or your booking's arrival date is less than 5 days from now, you will immediately be receiving the door code and check-in instructions (in a separate email) momentarily after you complete a signed rental agreement, ID upload, and processed the security deposit hold on your credit card.

Is there free parking and is it safe?There is unlimited free parking on the neighborhood streets and 2 public lots adjacent to Tiny Digs. We are in the Lakeside neighborhood which is safe. For extra precaution, we advise our guests to never leave any valuables visible in their vehicles. There is no parking inside the Tiny Digs property or in the alleyway behind the tiny houses.

Are you pet friendly?Sorry, we do not accept pets. There is a $250 fine if a pet is discovered on the property.

Do any of the tiny houses have televisions?We do not have televisions in any of our tiny homes. Our recommendation for all of our guests is to unplug, relax, and enjoy all that nature and the city has to offer. Disconnect and reconnect!

I cannot climb stairs, which of the tiny homes have beds on the main floor?Log Cabin with futon on the main floor. Heritage with a twin-day bed on the main floor. Lake House with a klick-klack couch on the main floor. Please make sure to let us know if you’ll be needing this couch area bed for sleeping so we can prepare linens for you.

Is there bicycle storage?Although we do not have a bicycle storage rack, our guests have been able to come up with a creative solution by bringing their own locks and keeping their bicycles safe by locking them to any railing or structures depending on which tiny house they’re staying in.

Are you close to the high-speed cross-lake ferry?We are just 4 ½ blocks from the ferry docks. A short walk so you don’t even have to take a car on the ferry. You can rent a bicycle on our main street or bring your own to tour around the lakeshore or downtown.

Is there a policy regarding parties?Unless your group has reserved the entire hotel, Tiny Digs enforces a NO IN-ROOM PARTY POLICY. This ensures we can protect the hotel and our guests at all times. In the event of a disturbance, a warning will be given, however, if this warning is not honored and a second complaint is received, the guest will forfeit all fees and must leave the hotel immediately. If you're curious about booking the entire hotel for an event or party, we'd be happy to accommodate that request! Please inquire with management via email, phone, or chat.
